Sreeparna Roy has done her Post Graduate degrees in Sociology from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and in English Literature from the University of Gour Banga. She has also completed her B.Ed. training from the University of Gour Banga. Presently pursuing a course in Rural Development from IGNOU, she has her future ambitions in the field of research and prefers to continue in the arena of academics.
Reading and collecting books, painting, dancing, theatre and cinema are areas in which she is fairly interested.
