Payel Chakraborty has done her graduation in Botany(Hons.) from Balurghat college. She has done her Post Graduate degrees in Botany from the University of Gour Banga, Specialisation in Plant Physiology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology with 6 months of experience in the laboratory handling for project work. She has also completed her B.Ed training from the West Bengal University of Teachers Training Education Planning & Administration (WBUTTEPA) . She has also completed a Diploma course in Information Technology Application from Youth Computer training center. She has completed a FIRST AID course under the Minister of Health & Family Welfare. Travelling, dancing, gardening along with collecting & preserving various plants are the areas in which she is most interested.
